wbff- BALTIMORE — Maryland Citizens Health Initiative is expected to announce legislation that would make high-cost drugs more affordable for all Marylanders.

On a Tuesday edition of Fox45 Morning News, Vincent Demarco with the Health Initiative joined the show to weigh in.

“The basic reason here is drugs don't work if people cannot afford them," said Demarco. “Many people cut their drugs in half, have to give up other necessities for their high-cost drugs and we all pay the price for higher premiums because our insurance corporations have to pay so much for these drugs”.
