You'd think it was the end of the world. But to many Denver area residents, the Comcast outage on Monday night was indeed debilitating.

Unable to finish their work days, to watch Monday Night Football, surf the web on their laptops, or even watch Netflix. It was unclear exactly where the fiber was cut or how many customers were affected, though the big red blob on Downdetector.com covered most of the metro area, indicating that service was cut to the majority of Comcast customers. Finally, around 11:30 p.m., Comcast tweeted that service had been restored ...
