After a car crashed into Parker's Hairstyling Connections, the mayor of Parker is asking local salons to take in salon-less stylists.

On Wednesday, May 3, a car crashed into Parker salon, Hairstyling Connections. The white Honda lodged itself halfway into the salon, destroying the shop, and the jobs of the stylists who work there. Parker mayor, Mike Waid, reached out to other local salons via social media to help the stylists of the destroyed location. Luckily, there were no injuries to the driver or anyone who was inside the shop at the time. Unfortunately, according to Mayor Mike Waid, the salon will have to close for a few weeks while repairs are being done. The closure prompted the mayor to reach out via Facebook to see if he could get the stylists temporary "homes." https://www.facebook.com/MayorWaid/posts/1672786229401491   In less than a day's time, it seems the ten salon-less stylists have all found temporary chairs at shops around Parker. Just goes to show the amazing benefits of social media and connecting people together!
