The St. Paddy's Day delight is back, so we're feeling lucky!

Guess what, you lucky ducks? McDonald's coveted Shamrock Shake is back, and it's coming a lot sooner than you think. The fast-food chain will start selling the soft-serve treat beginning February 21 at restaurants nationwide.

The news was announced with an artsy tweet:

Forget the McRib—we're all about the Shamrock Shake!

Considered the "creme de la creme" of McDonald's desserts, the Shamrock Shake hype has remained steadfast since its debut in the 1970s. The sweet treat features a vanilla ice cream base, Shamrock Syrup, and whipped cream to top it off. With its signature green coloring and minty flavor, it's no wonder people have flocked in droves to get their hands on one!

But that's not all. The fast-food titans are giving us not one, but TWO treats to look forward to this month. Customers can also snag the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry, which has been a huge hit over the years. It contains the components of the traditional shake: vanilla ice cream, mint flavoring—except it has chunks of Oreo cookie swirled throughout.

If you can't decide between an Oreo McFlurry and the Shamrock Shake, now you don't have to!

Like Puxatawney Phil seeing its shadow or the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, the Shamrock Shake signals new beginnings as we endure the cold grasp of winter and step into spring. You can grab them for a limited time at your local drive-through, as well as through curbside pickup and Mobile Order & Pay. While you're at it, you can grab the Spicy Chicken McNuggets for a fan-favorite fling!

Which will be your fan favorite: Shamrock Shake or Oreo Shamrock McFlurry? What's your typical McDonald's order? Share it in the comments.
