QUINCY — Tabitha Jordan, a medical assistant at SIU Center for Family Medicine, is being recognized by the center as Employee of the Month for April.

Jordan is pursuing her certified medical assistant (CMA) certification while continuing her role. Her daily responsibilities include assisting doctors and nurses with exams and procedures, educating patients, setting up and monitoring EKGs and ensuring a safe and sterile environment for patient care.

A colleague shared in a press release, “Tabitha is an excellent addition to the nursing team. She is very prompt, a true team player and always willing to help anyone in need. She wants every patient to receive great care and goes above and beyond to make them feel welcome and truly cared about.”
