The No. 19 Memphis basketball team has not lost back-to-back games all season. The Tigers (21-5, 11-2 AAC) hope that continues Sunday when they welcome FAU (15-11, 8-5) to FedExForum. Penny Hardaway and Co. get the Owls for the second time, having won in Boca Raton, Florida, 90-62 on Jan. 2. But on Feb. 16, Memphis lost in overtime at Wichita State. For Hardaway, the most difficult part of having to sit on a loss for an entire week is how his team lost. "Having a two-point lead with 19 seconds to go — with the ball," Hardaway said. "That makes it really hard." The Tigers are in first place in the AAC standings — one game ahead of North Texas and UAB and two games up on fourth-place Tulane. Memphis currently owns the tiebreakers over all three. Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle. FAU also comes into Sunday's game after a loss to the Shockers, who upset the Owls in Boca Raton on Thursday.
