The Metropolitan Police Department is intensifying its efforts to track down three individuals believed to be involved in a robbery in Northwest Washington. As reported, the crime took place on Thursday at a business located in the 1200 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. The suspects entered the establishment around 7:00 p.m., proceeded to take merchandise, and one was reported to have displayed a firearm before they all made their escape, as per the Metropolitan Police Department .

MPD has actively been circulating images captured by surveillance cameras in hopes of bringing these suspects to justice. The photos, which include shots of the trio and their getaway vehicle, were officially released in an attempt to identify the culprits quickly. MPD encourages anyone with information to come forward.

Members of the public who recognize these suspects or the associated vehicle are urged not to approach but to contact the police. This can be done by calling (202) 727-9099 or anonymously texting a tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. As indicated in the MPD's announcement, a reward of up to $10,000 is on offer for details that directly lead to an arrest and conviction in regard to this specific violent crime that violated the community's sense of safety.
