PHOENIX, Ariz. (KVOA) – Three men from Mexico, appeared for their initial court appearances last week in Arizona. They were secured from Mexico on February 27, 2025. The defendants, Jose Bibiano Cabrera-Cabrera, 37, Jesus Humberto Limon-Lopez, 43, and Jose Guadalupe Tapia-Quintero, 53, are accused of being leaders and managers within drug cartels recently labeled as Foreign Terrorist Organizations. They allegedly imported large quantities of drugs like cocaine, meth, fentanyl, and heroin into the United States. Tapia-Quintero is facing charges including conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine with intent to import into the U.S. He could be sentenced to life imprisonment. Limon-Lopez is charged with continuing criminal enterprise and conspiracy to distribute and import various drugs. He also faces potential life imprisonment. Cabrera-Cabrera is charged with conspiracy to distribute and import several drugs. Like the others, he faces up to life imprisonment.
