Early this morning, a shooting rocked the Little Haiti neighborhood in Miami, resulting in one death and three injuries, as reported by local authorities. According to WSVN , the incident unfolded across two locations, beginning with a ShotSpotter alert that led Miami Police to Northwest Second Avenue and 62nd Street just after midnight.

First responders discovered a man with gunshot wounds at the initial site, he was quickly transported to Jackson Memorial Trauma; NBC Miami reports that another victim was located around the corner at Northwest Second Avenue and Northwest 56th Street, tragically pronounced dead at the scene with the surrounding area featuring a blue sedan circled by evidence markers. Two other gunshot victims self-transported to a local hospital, marking a grim tally of four individuals caught in the night's violent events.

The area surrounding the crime scene was expected to remain closed off into the early afternoon as police intensified their investigation, working to piece together the events of the night’s violence. Aerial footage captured by 7NewsDrone Force provided a chilling overhead view: a blue Honda, abandoned and marked with evidence tags, and several blocks away, a black BMW—its body punctured by bullet holes, and windows shattered.

Officials have not yet released the conditions of those taken to the hospital, and the investigation continues as police work to identify the suspects. It’s still unclear whether the person who died was a victim or the attacker, according to the updates by WSVN .
