WEBSTER COUNTY, Mo. — Scott Chisholm, a 67-year-old man from Springfield who has been missing since Jan. 18, 2025, was recently found dead by search teams in Webster County.

According to the Webster County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO), Chisholm’s body was located on March 7 during a morning search in the Niangua area. Springfield police issued an endangered silver advisory for Chisholm on Jan. 29 .

Authorities say there was no foul play involved in Chisholm’s death and that there is no threat to the public.

The search on March 7 included personnel from the WCSO, Webster County Emergency Management, Webster County Health Department, Greene County Emergency Management, Christian County Emergency Management, Niangua Fire Department, and members of MOCERT1.
