Missourians who were left jobless by the wave of tornadoes, severe storms, and wildfires that hit the state on March 14th and 15th can now receive disaster unemployment benefits. Missouri’s Division of Employment Security will be receiving applications for Disaster Unemployment Assistance through July 21st. Those eligible must live within one of the 18 counties declared a federal disaster area from the mid-March storms and wildfires. Those counties are Bollinger, Butler, Camden, Carter, Franklin, Howell, Iron, Jefferson, Oregon, Ozark, Perry, Phelps, Reynolds, Ripley, St. Louis, Wayne, Webster, and Wright.
