Giuliana Manning, 5, was found around 5:10 a.m. Friday following an Amber Alert that was issued around 2:30 a.m. Friday.

George Manning was identified by law enforcement as a person of interest for a double homicide and child abduction. He remained at large throughout the morning, but just after 9 a.m., a shooting involving police officers also took place around that same time in Riverside, Missouri.

He then reportedly shot two people at a home in that area, killing one and seriously injuring another. At that time, he took the 5-year-old girl and fled.

Authorities confirmed later that one of the two killed was a male juvenile. They also said they believe that the other person seriously injured was the mother of the boy killed and the girl who was abducted.
