BALTIMORE — The Mitchell Courthouse was evacuated following a fire alarm Tuesday afternoon according to the Baltimore City Sheriff's Office.

A fire was reported on the fourth floor in room 438.

A Sheriff's Office employee put out the fire with a fire extinguisher officials say.

The fire department cleared the building for re-entry. The source of the fire is expected to be electrical.

No injuries were reported.
