Humans aren’t the only ones who get evicted. This moose family knows how it feels!
At Ski Time Square condominiums in Steamboat Springs, a mamma moose and her two calves were found hanging out a little too long. In other words, it was time for them to be evicted. Since Moose are known to be one of the most dangerous animals to humans in the Steamboat area, they needed to be gone immediately.
The presence of these three however seemed to be quite adorable. They didn’t show any signs of aggression, they were just not in the right place. Parks and Wildlife took caution with the moose by properly tranquilizing them by giving each moose a shot in the tongue to stimulate their respiratory systems. Once the moose were tagged, they were relocated to Craig.

This isn’t the first nor the last time that encounters with moose will occur. Just recently, at Maroon Bowl, two snowboarders who were caught in an avalanche not only had to escape the avalanche, but then had to fend off a vicious moose. Like I said before, this won’t be the last time this will happen, but Parks and Wildlife have no intentions of relocating the moose any further.
