COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Behind this morning’s rain, we dry out with just a slight chance for an isolated storm or two remaining this afternoon and evening. Most areas can expect to stay dry for the rest of the weekend.

Behind the upper level disturbance that triggered this morning’s rain for parts of the Midlands, most areas can expect to stay dry with just a slight chance for a shower or storm remaining possible for the rest of today. The continued rain chance, albeit a low one for this afternoon and evening, is prompted by a cold front headed in this direction.

The cold front crosses the Midlands tonight. This front brings an end to any rain chances for the remainder of the weekend.

Otherwise, this afternoon will be warm and humid with highs in the mid 80s.

Behind the front, more comfortable and drier air for Sunday moves in. Expect highs to be a little cooler, in the upper 70s with partly cloudy skies.

Today: A pop-up storm or two remains possible this afternoon. Chance of rain for the rest of today 20%. Highs in the mid 80s.

Tonight: A stray storm possible early. Lows in the low 60s.
