It's that time of year when we don our faded overalls and venture over to one of Colorado's corn mazes ... just to get hopelessly lost.
If you've ever squeezed between corn stalks in search of a shortcut from one path to another, then you're a cheater. Straight up. But there's no judgment from me ... because I'm a cheater, too. Every year, Colorado's farmers design some amazing corn mazes to delight both the cheaters and non-cheaters alike!

Anderson Farms knows how to put together a stellar corn maze. I mean, this year's design features the Denver skyline against a mountain backdrop. They're
crazy good. Since 2009, they've won Best Maze Design or honorable mention from the North American Farmers' Direct Marketing Association five different times. Made of 30 acres with more than eight miles of trails, Anderson's maze features three different games or challenges to tackle, depending on your group's age. If you like scary stuff, come at night for Terror in the Corn, and they'll take you via hay ride and drop you off in the middle of a "haunted" corn field.

Chatfield Farms' maze is a seven-acre puzzle with "numerous dead-ends and tricky pathways." It will take about one hour to solve. The After Dark Corn Maze is a separate experience for those who prefer the thrill of corn-mazing by only the light of a glow stick and the moon (though it's not haunted!).
