Mount Vernon is hosting its famous Fall Wine Festival and Sunset Tour. Are you down?

There'll be wine. There'll be great scenery. There'll even be George and Martha Washington stopping in to say hello (since it's their house and all!). And what is the name of this epic event, you ask? It's the Fall Wine Festival and Sunset Tour, set at lovely Mount Vernon!

WHEN: October 5-7 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
WHERE: 3200 Mount Vernon Memorial Highway | Mount Vernon, VA
COST: $42 (October 5), $48 (October 6), or $38 (October 7)
CONTACT: Click here or call 703-780-2000

Bring out your fall essentials (like the coziest blanket in your house) to relax on Mount Vernon's scenic east lawn and sample Virginia-made wines as you overlook the Potomac River. Nineteen Virginia wineries, such as the Barboursville Vineyards and the Williamsburg Winery, will be bringing you their very best. And if you weren't ready to load up your car (and drag along a friend as a designated driver) from the moment wine was mentioned, there's more.

Listen to different bands each night while you chill out, and sample foods from the Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant, such as baguettes or sweets, to wash down with your wine. You'll also be able to take a tour of Washington's mansion and cellar and learn about Washington's own endeavors when it came to wine.

It's safe to say that you'll leave relaxed, buzzed, and filled with wine recommendations for your friends!
