Authorities are seeking the public's help in identifying two individuals and a vehicle connected to a recent shooting in the Northwest area. According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) , the incident took place on the 2500 block of Ontario Road, Northwest, at around 10:06 p.m. last Saturday. Upon arrival at the scene, Third District officers discovered an adult male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound. Despite the violent nature of the event, the injury was deemed non-life-threatening. The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, was conscious and breathing when found by the officers. The D.C. Fire and EMS quickly rendered aid, transporting him to a local hospital where he is receiving medical treatment. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has not yet released descriptions of the individuals or vehicle involved in the shooting, and the motive remains under investigation. The case is active and ongoing, with no arrests made at this time. MPD urges anyone with information to come forward, as public assistance is crucial in identifying and apprehending those responsible.
