ST. JOSEPH, MO – Southern Arkansas tennis concluded a spring break trip with matches in St. Joseph, MO and Topeka, KS.

The women's team dominated Missouri Western on Friday, securing a 4-0 sweep. They set the tone early by winning all three doubles matches, with each pairing claiming a 6-3 victory. In singles play, Roksana Kokocha delivered a 6-1, 6-2 win at line four, while Honoka Yoshimura cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 victory at line five. Amelie Gindl clinched the match at the top spot with a commanding 6-3, 6-0 performance.

On Saturday, the Mulerider men faced No. 8 Washburn in Topeka, falling 5-2. After dropping the doubles point, only two Muleriders secured singles wins. Senior Jinsei Tajima battled back for a 4-6, 6-0, 6-1 victory at line five, while Mathys Pinoit edged out No. 3 Tim Hammes in a thrilling 7-5, 6-7, 7-6 contest at the top spot.

The Mulerider women were set to take on No. 8 Washburn on Sunday, but the match was canceled due to weather conditions.
