Multiple people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries following a head-on crash in Cape Coral on Thursday evening.

The crash happened on Burnt Store Road N at Caloosa Parkway around 5:25 p.m.

Officers said two people were transported as "Trauma Alerts" with non-life-threatening injuries, and a third was reportedly transported by a LeeFlight medical helicopter.
