Christopher Bell was fastest on qualifying day each of the past three races at Kansas Speedway — the playoff race in 2023 and both races last year. He was also the pole sitter for the spring race in '22.

His best finish in those four races was a fifth. In fact, none of his 12 Cup Series wins have come at Kansas. Sunday, he'll start third behind the front row of Kyle Larson and Chris Buescher.

Larson toured the 1.5-mile tri-oval faster than all Saturday, averaging 183.730 mph.

The last Kansas pole winner to also win the race was Larson in the 2021 playoff race. It came during his strong postseason run to the Cup Series championship.
