Tuesday is Election Day. And Omaha's blue dot could swing the 2024 Presidential race between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris as part of the state's five electoral votes. The polls close at 8 p.m.
Additionally, Nebraska residents will decide on representatives for the state's three congressional districts and two U.S. Senate races. There are also 23 seats in the Nebraska Legislature to be decided, plus five ballot initiatives and one referendum. Below you can find up-to-the-minute election results for races across Nebraska.

Republican incumbent Deb Fischer is seeking a third term in office and is facing Independent Dan Osborn, who helped preserve nearly 500 jobs in Nebraska during the Kellogg's strike in 2021. In the other race, Republican incumbent Pete Ricketts is facing Democratic opponent Preston Love. Ricketts was appointed to the seat after Ben Sasse resigned in 2022.
First Congressional District

Flood, who defeated Patty Pansing Brooks in a special election in 2022, was the youngest elected speaker of the legislature in Nebraska’s history. Blood, who was born in McCook, has served in the Nebraska Legislature representing parts of Sarpy County since 2016.
Second Congressional District

First elected in November 2016, Bacon is looking for a fifth term in the U.S. House of Representatives. Vargas, who has represented District 7 in the Nebraska Legislature since 2016, lost to Bacon by just under 6,000 votes in the 2022 election.
Third Congressional District
