Indianapolis-based restaurant company, Huse Culinary, is expanding to Phoenix.

This is their first expansion outside of Indiana and will begin with the opening of a Harry & Izzy's at the former Paradise Valley Mall.

CEO Craig Huse told the Phoenix Business Journal that they are looking to bring other Huse Culinary brands to the Valley, specifically to Scottsdale, a city he feels "elevates the brand."

Harry & Izzy's is a spin on the classic steakhouse with a large bar area, a 2,400-square-foot patio and an outside bar that can seat a total of 340 people.

“We're bringing a little Hoosier hospitality,” Huse said to the Phoenix Business Journal. “We are not trying to appeal to foodies that are looking for a culinary experimentation of sorts. We just really deliver the classics at a high level.”

The menu will include steaks, seafood, burgers, sandwiches and pastas.

The 8,300-square-foot restaurant is expected to begin construction in the coming months.

“Arizona has been growing tremendously over the last 10 years, and it looks like it's continuing to grow by another 1.5 million people by 2040,” Huse said to the Business Journal. “There's a lot of runway in Arizona.”

When will Harry & Izzy's open?

Harry's & Izzy's is expected to open in early 2026 with plans to open additional restaurants in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area.
