Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels welcomed another talented pass target after the team acquired wide receiver Deebo Samuel in a trade with the San Francisco 49ers .

Daniels and Samuel have the entire offseason to develop their chemistry and help the Commanders reach greater heights after an impressive campaign last season.

In the meantime, the 24-year-old Daniels is making the most of his free time. He recently watched the game between California and Mississippi State in the NCAA Women's Tournament.

He watched it with USC star JuJu Watkins, who was scouting the two squads as they will face the winner of the matchup in the second round.

Daniels was also with his mom, Regina Jackson, who sat between the Commanders star and Watkins at one point, as shown in a post of ESPN on X . Jackson's move garnered various reactions from fans.

"Why is mom sitting in between them? Hope she ain’t that bent," said a fan.

"Mom got in the middle real quick," echoed another fan.

To be clear, Jackson didn't sit between Daniels and Watkins the entire time. There have been rumors that the two young athletes are cousins, but with their appearance in the NCAA Women's Tournament, fans have also assumed they're dating.

Watkins and the top-seeded Trojans will battle the ninth-seeded Bulldogs in the second round.
