So. Much. Food.
It’s been a challenging year for restaurants in the Denver Metro area, to say the least. Yet, despite the pandemic, restaurants are still putting out amazing food. I could have made a top 100 list, but here's my top 10, in no particular order.
The Roost
Buckner Lamb Chops: Chargrilled Longmont-raised lamb, lemon basil pesto, seasonal vegetables, and organic red curried quinoa.
Lea Jane’s Hot Chicken
The LJ Waffle Cone: Angry Mac and Hot Chicken Bites with all the toppings.
Hank’s Texas BBQ
Beef Rib: Only available on weekends.
Xicamiti
Bendido: Corn cake topped with carnitas, poached eggs, and chipotle hollandaise. Only available on weekend brunch.
Urban Village
Kale Moong Dal Chaat: Crispy kale topped with sprouted lentils, tamarind-mint-cilantro puree, and roasted cumin yogurt.
Los Dos Potrillos
Chili Relleno Nachos: Crispy chili Rellenos chopped and stuffed with Anaheim peppers and jack cheese in a crispy shell. Then smothered in green chili and cheese.
Crush Pizza + Tap
Hot Mess Pizza: Spicy red sauce, Sopressetta, in house-pickled peppers, goat cheese, and honey.
20 Mile Tap House
The Ringer: Cheddar, bacon, and two crispy onion rings.
Kickin Chicken
Chicken Sandwich: Chicken thighs on buttered Texas toast topped off with Kickin sauce, slaw, and pickles.
Daughter Thai Kitchen and Bar
Bangkok Ribs: Stewed ribs with glaze honey palm sugar black soy sauce, bok choy, and crunchy noodles.
