The Oklahoma Sooners have gained more than they've lost in the transfer portal this offseason. After the addition of Stanford interior offensive lineman Jake Maikkula, center Josh Aisosa entered the transfer portal. He's the second center to enter the portal this offseason after Josh Bates left and signed with SMU. Aisosa now has a new home after committing to play for the West Virginia Mountaineers . Aisosa spent just one season with the Sooners after joining OU as part of the 2024 signing class. He was a three-star prospect out of Edmond Santa Fe. In addition to Maikkula, the Sooners brought in Melissa three-star center, Owen Hollenbeck, as part of the 2025 recruiting class, creating quite the logjam at the center position. Aisosa joins former Oklahoma defensive coordinator Zac Alley in Morgantown for 2025. Alley left the Sooners for Morgantown to reunite with head coach Rich Rodriguez. Alley worked under Rodriguez at Jacksonville State as the defensive coordinator. Aisosa redshirted with the Sooners in 2024 and will have four years of eligibility remaining.
