The Carousel at National Harbor is the perfect spot if you want to include family time in your trip! The 36-foot carousel is Americana-themed and offers many cool creatures for your little ones to sit on as they enjoy their ride. For your daily dose of history this summer, check out the Surratt House Museum! Built in 1852, the Surratt House was the home of Mary Surratt, whose role in the Lincoln assassination conspiracy led to her becoming the first woman in the United States to be executed. Now, the Surratt House is a museum dedicated to educating visitors on the story behind the plot to assassinate Lincoln.
