Haggerty performed well at the combine and hit 73 percent of his looks throughout individual shooting drills, the fourth-best mark among all prospects (h/t Givony ).

He wasn't projected to be selected within either round on the latest mock draft from Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman , though.

Haggerty opened his college career at TCU before transferring to Tulsa ahead of the 2023-24 season. He spent one year at the school until he entered the portal once again, eventually joining Memphis.

The 21-year-old put together an impressive 2024-25 campaign for the Tigers, helping them win the AAC regular-season title as well as their conference championship.

Haggerty won AAC Player of the Year honors and was named a second-team All-American.

In 35 starts, he averaged 21.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.8 steals per game. Haggerty shot 47.6 percent from the field and showed off improved long-range accuracy, connecting on 36.4 percent of his triples.

He'll now join a Kansas State squad that is looking to bounce back next season. The Wildcats' win total has decreased in each of the past two years under head coach Jerome Tang, which included a 16-17 finish last season.
