The nostalgia is real. As someone who grew up in the '90s and owned the original PlayStation console (I still have it stored somewhere at my parents' house), this bit of news from Sony has got me feeling so excited (and old!). In honor of the PlayStation's 30th anniversary this year, Sony is rolling out a new limited-edition collection.

The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection pays "homage to 30 wonderful years of gaming, a journey made possible by the passion and support of our fans and talented game developers ... this limited edition offering utilizes the original PlayStation color design and integrates it into the latest line of PS5 hardware products."

Despite owning the limited-edition Spider-Man 2 PS5, I'm seriously considering selling it just so I can justify purchasing the 30th-anniversary one ...

The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection will be sold in highly limited supply in the following options:

The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection will be released on November 21. 

Sony says 12,300 limited-edition units will be available for customers to purchase. Each unit will have numbers etched onto it, representing the month and date of the first PlayStation console launch.
