There was an accident early Tuesday morning, according to LPD Emergency Communications.

According to officials, the 1900 block of Grace Street near Guggenheimer Nursing Home is closed due to an accident involving a power pole/line down in the roadway.

"Please avoid this area and use alternate routes," officials said.
