ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A truck hit a bicycle, killing one person, before driving away from where it happened, Albuquerque police said Sunday.

Officers responded around 4 p.m. Sunday to a crash near Kathryn Avenue and Carlisle Boulevard. They said witnesses told them a truck hit the bicycle and drove off.

The person on the bicyclist died at the scene, according to APD.

The crash is under investigation.
