KENNER, La. (KCTV) - Investigators seized multiple electronic devices in connection with the death of a Kansas City reporter who was in New Orleans to cover the Chiefs in the Super Bowl . Adan Manzano , 27, was in New Orleans covering the event for Telemundo in Kansas City. WVUE in New Orleans reports a forensic examination is planned for the electronics. Detectives hope it will help them create a timeline of the events that happened in the hours leading up to Manzano’s death. Police say additional locations where Manzano and Colbert were seen together have been identified, according to WVUE. Manzano was found unresponsive in his New Orleans-area hotel room Wednesday. Kenner police arrested Danette Colbert in connection with his death last week. As of Monday morning Colbert is charged with property and fraud-related crimes. The Kenner police chief said investigators found Manzano’s credit card at Colbert’s home. Detectives are also awaiting toxicology reports to determine if Manzano was drugged before his death, according to WVUE. Colbert has an arrest record that includes prior arrests related to being accused of drugging men, stealing cash, fraudulent use of credit and debit cards, and other financial-related crimes.
