PHOENIX — A Powerball ticket sold in a Scottsdale grocery store won $50,000 in Monday night’s drawing, according to the Arizona Lottery.

The winning slip was sold at the Safeway located at Scottsdale and Pinnacle Peak roads.

Monday’s winning numbers were 2, 17, 18, 29 and 43, with a Powerball number of 3.

The odds of winning the top prize in the Arizona Lottery are 1 in over 7 million, but the Grand Canyon State has seen a recent string of lucky strikes.
