WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - A powerful line of storms moved through Texoma Tuesday evening, dumping torrential rain on already-saturated ground, flooding streets and delivering heavy winds.

A long-track supercell swept across Knox County into Baylor County, dropping at least one tornado. Storm chasers confirmed snapped power poles in the area.

Oncor’s outage map showed around 700 homes without power across Texoma, with most of those - around 400 - located near Thornberry. Oncor expected most outages to be resolved tonight, but a cluster of outages near Electra was projected to take until at least the morning to get back online.

Across Texoma, the rainfall quickly flooded streets and drainage areas while high winds wreaked havoc. Seymour saw trees toppled and streets flooded. Earlier in the day, the City of Wichita Falls advised residents to avoid certain intersection for fear that they would flood.

News Channel 6 is continuing to monitor the aftermath of the storms.
