Montana Brown, the Love Island star, has shared that she was rushed to hospital after suffering from 'the worst tummy bug'. The 29 year old, who is pregnant with her second child with fiancé Mark O'Connor, took to Instagram on Saturday to update fans about her health after feeling extremely unwell for the past week. Alongside a picture of herself in hospital and several others cuddling up to her 17-month-old son Jude, Montana revealed that she's now recovering and shared disappointment at missing out on several recent events.

She also spoke of her relief that her little boy didn't catch the same illness, crediting his hugs and kisses for helping her through this difficult time. In her post, she wrote: "A compilation of my week having the worst tummy bug, ending in a lovely trip to triage as I was so dehydrated. Had so many gorgeous plans this week so gutted to have missed it all BUT on the mend. Thank god for my little angel boy being so good with me and giving me all the hugs & kisses thank goodness he didn’t get it! This is all the content I have for this week alongside me next to toilet bowls, thanks for all the recommendations too my lovely people xx."

This comes just after Montana revealed the gender of her second baby last month. Sharing a series of photos of her weekend with friends and Mark, Montana included one in which she held up a piece of cake and another of Mark also displaying a slice, complete with pink icing to confirm they are expecting a girl.

On her post, Montana wrote: “Wholesome weekend for markys birthday… we found out the gender - scroll to the end to find out what we’re having,” referring to the revealing cake photos.

Friends and fans were quick to congratulate the couple, with Tasha Ghouri writing “Congratulations girly!” and Lottie Tomlinson sending love heart emojis. Made In Chelsea ’s Lucy Watson added: “Omgggg a GUUUURL this is too exciting,” and Charlotte Dawson also commented, saying: “Yayyyyy we are in our girl mama era now my love,” as she is also expecting a girl.

Montana revealed her pregnancy news back in July to her 1.1 million Instagram followers, showing off her bump in a chic knit dress and smiling for the camera. Confirming that she and her rugby player fiancé Mark are expecting their second child, she wrote: "Two under two let's go!"

The couple, who welcomed their first child, Jude, in June last year, announced they were expecting again just 13 months later.

Montana appeared on the 2017 series of Love Island . She confirmed her relationship with Mark in October 2021, with the couple getting engaged in April 2023 after he proposed while they were on holiday in Bermuda. Mark is a rugby player-turned-real estate executive, having attended Cardiff University and Henley Business School. He played rugby for Chiswick and Wales 1st Team.
