ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and the opioid crisis continues to impact families across the state.

But, a new program is putting life-saving tools into more hands through Project ECHO, a training model within UNM’s Health Sciences Center.

In this week’s Healthy Living segment, UNM Health looks at how the Project ECHO core program is training New Mexicans to recognize and respond to overdose emergencies.
