A “large crowd” of federal workers and supporters gathered at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) headquarters in Maryland on Monday, March 3, to challenge the Trump administration’s job cuts, according to reports. The ‘Save NOAA, stop DOGE’ protest was organized by the Chesapeake Climate Action Network in response to sweeping cuts on federal employment by billionaire Elon Musk and the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) initiative. Hundreds of weather forecasters and NOAA employees were laid off across the country, according to reports. Footage taken by Montgomery Community Media’s Suzanne Pollak shows the scene in Silver Spring on Monday. We're on the road to justice. We're on the road to justice. We're on the road to justice.
