Get a good workout at sunrise with a spectacular view from Red Rocks.

If you are a yoga expert, or you are looking to get into it, then Yoga on the Rocks might be ideal for you. Red Rocks Amphitheatre is bringing back yoga for June and July. Classes are every Saturday and Sunday at 7 a.m. and will begin June 5 to  August 1. The Yoga River instructors will be leading the classes. Attendees must bring a yoga mat and water bottle.

Tickets are priced at $17 per person and will go on sale on April 16. Tickets can only be bought in advance and will not be sold at the venue. A dollar from every ticket will be donated to the Love Your Brain Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps people who have suffered a traumatic brain injury.

Even though Red Rocks has been authorized to expand its capacity, attendees must wear masks at all times and practice social distancing guidelines. Participants should not attend if they are no feeling well or may have been around someone who was sick.

State officials announced back in March that Red Rocks Amphitheater would reopen in April with a 2,500-person capacity. This is a result of a variance that allows the amphitheater to operate outside the state's COVID-19 rules. The outdoor venue's capacity is typically around 9,500 visitors.

Since the announcement, Red Rocks has rescheduled upcoming events while following the current rules to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Its popular Film on the Rocks Summer Series will also return in the following months, combining a drive-in program introduced last summer.
