In our humble opinion, Red Rocks Amphitheatre was the ONLY choice for this award.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre was presented with the award by Pollstar, a popular concert industry publication. Red Rocks beat out the Hollywood Bowl, Forest Hills Stadium, Greek Theatre, Ascend Amphitheatre, Gorge Amphitheatre, and Merriweather Post Pavilion.

In addition to the "Best Outdoor Venue" award, Red Rocks was also nominated for the "Venue of the Year - Medium Capacity" award by the Academy for Country Music. We'll have to keep our fingers crossed until they announce the winner on April 7, 2019!

Red Rocks released a statement on Instagram earlier this afternoon. The iconic Colorado concert venue has drawn superstar performers and fans since 1906. The geologically-formed amphitheater boasts outstanding acoustics, breathtaking views, and must be on the bucket list for any Colorado resident!
