Are you getting bored with the way your room looks, but don’t want to buy all new things? Luckily for you, I have found five tricks that will completely redesign your room at no cost.

I am constantly trying to redesign my room. Unfortunately, I have the taste of Ethan Allen with the budget of IKEA. I have my mother to blame for that. My room was once oh so great when my mother had Ethan Allen come out and redesign our house (including my room). This was great when I was five. Now, I am in my own apartment with the same furniture. Below are five tricks to completely transform your bedroom at little to almost no cost. After all, this resting place should be only but the best so you can assure happiness and beauty rest. 1.Reposition your bed.

Believe it or not, simply moving your bed can completely change the entire look and feel of your room. If you push it up against the wall, it could allow you to have more space. It just depends on what you want the focus of your room to be.

2.Create a clean surface.

Clutter can completely destroy the look of anything, no less your room. Get a clean and refined look just when you simply clean off your desk or dresser. Have a few staple pieces on your desk or dresser. When I say a few, I mean it. Pieces should always be in groups of three. This could be a bouquet of flowers, a tiny decorative desk clock, and a candle. Something as simple as this can redesign the entire look of your room, trust me.

3. Rearrange your artwork.

Simply redesigning the way the artwork lays on your wall will instantly change the look and feel. Be creative with where you place your artwork. You’d be surprised at how some pieces look better elsewhere.

4. Lighting, Lighting, Lighting!

Search your house for a staple lamp. Adding this lighting will make your room romantic and will also give it more depth. Another touch I love is an assortment of candles. If you light them, make sure to blow them out!!

5.Clean out your closet NOW.

I understand the feeling of letting go of a piece of clothing from 2007, and how it can be depressing, but we HAVE TO. Cluttering your closet will not only stress you out, but it will make your room look too busy. Use an afternoon to go through your closet and figure out what you want to keep and what you want to get rid of. Take all of the clothes you don’t want and take them to your local Plato’s Closet and get money on the spot. Use that to buy a big, furry throw to give your room a luxurious feel.
