RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - 1:15 P.M. UPDATE: The Reno Police Department reports non-emergency lines are working again.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Reno Police Department reported Sunday that its none-emergency telephone numbers for police and fire were not working.

The 911 number for emergencies remains working.

Police said they did not know when service would be restored for non-emergency numbers. They asked people to not use 911 unless they had an emergency so the 911 lines and staff do not become clogged.
