STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Emergency officials responded to a report of a crash on Richmond Road in New Dorp on Tuesday afternoon.

NYPD and FDNY officials could be seen on Richmond, just before New Dorp Lane, around 4:40 p.m.

Officials blocked off the sidewalk in the area with yellow caution tape.

A vehicle with front-end damage could be seen at the location.

One lane of Richmond was blocked in the immediate aftermath of the crash.
