Home prices across the US have soared in recent years, including in the ultra-luxury property market.

All 10 of the most expensive homes listed for sale in the US are asking more than $100 million - and two are asking more than $200 million.

That is according to a new report from real estate brokerage Redfin released this month.

Coastal Florida and Southern California dominate the list, with half of the most expensive home listings in the Sunshine State, three in California, one in New York City and one in Lake Tahoe.

Here, we break down the nation's most expensive homes for sale.

1. $285 million



The most expensive home for sale in the US, complete with its own lagoons and private yacht dock, is listed at a whopping $285 million and counts the ocean as a backyard.

While many Florida residents are faced with natural disasters and soaring home insurance costs, beachfront Palm Beach County, with its warm weather and lack of a state income tax, still draws ultra-rich residents like Larry Ellison and Sean Hannity.

This particular home, located at 1960 S. Ocean Blvd., in Manalapan, Florida, is a 'masterpiece' designed by acclaimed architect Choeff Levy Fishman with luxury interiors done by Marc-Michaels Interior Design.

The home spans over 50,000 total square feet and sits on four acres of ocean front land.

The estate includes a private car museum, a stunning boathouse with a private dock, an exquisite guest house, an oceanside beach house, a state-of-the-art gym and spa, a movie theater, a golf simulation room, a bowling alley, a paddle court, and a shooting range.

Outside is a 3,700-square-foot infinity-edge pool complete with multiple waterfalls and lagoons.

The second most expensive home listed in the US is for sale at $210 million.

3. $195 million



Beverly Hills, California, boasts the third most expensive estate, listed for $195 million.

The Angelo Estate, designed by famed master architect Ed Tuttle, is a contemporary property perched on a six-acre promontory with unobstructed views across the entire Los Angeles basin from downtown to the ocean.

A long, gated private driveway to leads to onsite parking for 80 to 100 cars.

The main house faces an impeccably landscaped open courtyard with fountains.

An atrium foyer filled with natural light was designed in the vein of IM Pei's Louvre installation.

5. $175 million



The fifth most expensive listing in the US is selling for $175 million. The beachfront property in Naples, Florida, spans over 15 acres with 812 uninterrupted feet of beach frontage.

The home sits within the luxurious community of Port Royal in Naples, and is hidden behind gated entries for the utmost level of privacy and security.

It's a quick trip to downtown Naples, and a ten-minute trip to Naples executive airport.

6. $150 million



A 21-bedroom, 28-bathroom estate in Miami Beach, Florida, is the sixth most expensive listing at $150 million.

The Palm Compound is 35,385 interior square-feet on a 90,000 square-foot lot.

The compound includes three mansions side-by-side, with room for staff, guests and security.

It has 21 bedrooms, 25 full bathrooms, three swimming pools, lush gardens and docks for multiple mega yachts.

7. $150 million



New York City houses the seventh most expensive listing in the country at 217 W. 57th Street.

Sky House is the highest duplex penthouse at Central Park Tower, the tallest residential building in the world.

This mansion in the clouds stretches across the entire 127th and 128th floors and has views of New Jersey, the Statue of Liberty, and parts of New England.

The kitchen features eucalyptus cabinetry, marble countertops, custom polished nickel hardware, and white stone flooring.

The jewel of Sky House is a magnificent glass ensconced sculptural staircase connects the two floors of the home.

Residents have access to a private fitness center, a heated saltwater pool, and a windowed basketball and squash court.

8. $150 million



Casa Grande, at 31062 Casa Grande Dr., San Juan Capistrano, California, is also listed at $150 million.

The 18-bedroom, 18-bathroom estate is a ccessed by a private drive through Marbella Country Club.

The home has 360-degree ocean, mountain, and seascape views. It can stable up to 10 horses and has direct access to the city's extensive riding trails.

There is also a working avocado farm, citrus grove, and potential for an agave business.

9. $137.5 million



The ninth most expensive listing is bigger than the White House and was built by the late 'Beverly Hills 90210' creator Aaron Spelling as his private residence.

The Los Angeles property sits at 594 S Mapleton Dr. in the heart of Holmby Hills and borders the Los Angeles Country Club. It is currently listed for $137.5 million.

There are 14 bedrooms and 21 bathrooms, and the estate totals 56,500 square-feet. It features a bowling alley, a beauty salon, rolling lawns to rose gardens, a massive library and a professional screening room.

10. $135 million



The final, and tenth, estate on Redfin's list of current most expensive listings in the US is Banyan Ridge Estate in the heart of Coconut Grove in Miami, Florida.

The property is listed at $135 million and has 13-bedrooms, and 16 bathrooms.

It has ocean views and 180 feet of waterfront property.

A 100-year-old Banyan Tree anchors the estate, flanked by cascading waterfalls, a tropical saltwater fishpond, a lap infinity pool, terraces overlooking the bay, and tranquil meditation gardens.
