COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–Forest Acres Police and the Richland County Fire Marshal are investigating a fatal house fire.
Firefighters say they responded to the home on the 3500 block of Verner Street early Sunday morning. Firefighters say they discovered a body in a front bedroom.
According to Forest Acres police, an autopsy found no obvious signs of foul play.
The Richland County Fire Marshal continues to investigate the cause.
