STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Richmond County Orchestra will play host to a Carnevale/Mardi Gras “Fun fundraiser” on Tuesday, March 4 at 7 p.m. at Osteria Santina in Westerleigh.

Proceeds from the event continue to ensure free admission to all concerts for students and children.

The evening will feature entertainment by Madison Gattullo, Miss Staten Island, and other performers who will include sopranos Alison Madill, Lina Fiscardi and Emma Dukhovny, mezzo-sopranos Julie Linton and Erin Reppenhagen, violinist Laura Gianni, tenor Ramon Tenefrancia, and Jia Yi He on harmonica.

Alison Madill received an undergraduate degree in music from West Virginia University and a master’s degree in music from Bowling Green State University.

She has performed with the Toledo Opera and was a featured artist with the Huron Playhouse and Emerald Island Repertory Theater.

Alison studied at the Austrian-American Mozart Academy in Salzberg, Austria, where she performed such roles as Die Konigan Der Nacht from Die Zauberflute and Valencienne from Die Lustige Witwe.

Laura Giannini, an Italian violinist, recording artist, and music educator based in New York, is an award winner in European duo and piano trio competitions.

She has been a founding member of the OLLA Rhapsody, a violin duo, and the QueensSound Ensemble. A passionate educator, Giannini has taught in Italy, Germany, and New York for 20 years.

Her most recent teaching engagements include work as a teaching artist for YOSL – the Orchestra of St. Luke’s educational program in New York City.

Currently, she is on the violin and chamber music faculty of the Hoff-Barthelson Music School, where she is also the new Pre-College Chamber Music Program Director.

Jia-Yi He, a harmonica virtuoso, has received numerous awards at international festivals and competitions in England, Germany, Israel, Japan, and the United States.

He has appeared as a soloist with the China National Symphony Orchestra, China National Ballet Symphonic Orchestra and the Nassau Pops Symphony Orchestra.

The New York Mets chose him to perform a pre-game show at Shea Stadium. And he is a harmonica teacher at the Brooklyn Music School.

Julie Linton was trained classically while in high school and college and has a diverse musical background, including performing in local musical theater productions and several years in Nashville as a singer-songwriter.

She currently sings on the worship team at Gateway Church.

As a former teacher and theater director, Linton has a love for working with children.

Erin Reppenhagen recently made her Lincoln Center debut, singing the first-prize piece in the National Music & Global Culture Society’s International Composition Competition.

In addition to RCO Carnevale, she is performing in Jessica Meyer’s faculty recital at the Manhattan School of Music and, in August, is working with the Berkshire Opera Festival.

Ramon Gabriel Tenefrancia portrays various characters on both the operatic and concert stage.

A Manhattan School of Music grad, he has performed throughout New York City. His credits include Alfredo (“La Traviata”) with the Snug Harbor Cultural Center for the PASS Artist Residency Program, Little Bat McLean (“Susannah”) with the Delaware Valley Opera, Beppe (“I Pagliacci”) with New Rochelle Opera, the March Hare/Card#2 (“The Garden of Alice”) with City Lyric Opera, and Don Ottavio (“Don Giovanni”) with the Long Island Lyric Opera.

Emma Dukhovny is a teacher and educational administrator with over two decades of experience. She is passionate about opera performance and sharing her musical talent with fans and supporters worldwide.

Known for her sense of style, Emma blends her love of fashion with her performances, creating an elegant presence. Her commitment to giving back to the community is evident in her support for meaningful causes.

Lina Fiscardi is a graduate of The Fiorello Laguardia High School of Music & Art. She performs music in English, Italian and Spanish.

As CEO and founder of MusicbyLina.com, she is a vocalist, deejay and booking agent with a complete Party Company.

She has frequently performed at the “Back to the Beach Summer Concert Series” sponsored by the Borough President’s Office.

In early 2020 she was one of the winners of the Staten Island has Talent Competition, hosted by Richmond County Orchestra & the Riverside Opera Company.

A community advocate and the 2025 Miss Staten Island, Madison Gattullo has also worked in theater and media.

She was named one of the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation’s 20 under 40 award recipients. She has been involved in community service and advocacy to improve Staten Island.

She’s a former artistic designer at the Sugar Sisters Art Company and is currently managing the box office and social media at the St. George Theatre.

Conductor Alan Aurelia founded the Richmond County Orchestra in 1998 to provide Staten Island with live musical performances.

Tickets to the event, which are priced $100, help support Richmond County Orchestra’s “Keeping it Free for Kids” programs, which provide free admission for students and children to all concerts — and the Orchestra’s side-by-side student mentoring program.

Admission includes a four-course dinner accompanied by wine or Sangria.
