New Year’s Eve Celebration begins at 8 p.m. Count down to midnight and watch the Red Stick drop along with the fireworks display at Davis Rhorer Plaza. The event is free and open to the public.
Crowne Plaza NYE Party
The Crowne Plaza will
celebrate the new year from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. and have
live music by the Chase Tyler Band and Wayne Toups. Call 225-925-2244 to book a reservation. The standard room package includes a guest room, a dinner buffet, an open bar with wine and a late-night breakfast.
Hilton’s New Year’s Eve Party
The
Hilton Capitol Center will host a New Year’s Eve party with Gatsby-esque glamour and a Dueling Pianos performance from 88ReasonsWhy! The adults-only event begins at 6:30 p.m. for adults 21 and older.
Tickets include the performance, dinner, a champagne toast and a fireworks viewing.

Red Stick Rising: A New Year’s Eve Tradition for Kids
Red Stick Rising is a family-friendly New Year’s Eve event from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the River Center Library and Town Square. Kids can listen to stories, make arts and crafts, and see a performance by The Amazing Bacon stilt walker.

Get an incredible view of the fireworks from this restaurant’s rooftop terrace. Gather with friends and family for a night of dancing, drinks and food at this New Year’s Eve party.
