Krumpe's Donut Drop will be a great family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration. The event will feature live music, fireworks, and more!

Krumpe's Donut Drop is going down in Hagerstown on December 31, and it will be a free, lively event for all.  Sponsored by Middletown Valley Bank, the Donut Drop will feature live music, fireworks, free hot chocolate and coffee, soup, popcorn, and -- of course -- Krumpe's Do-Nuts. In conjunction with the event, downtown Hagerstown shops and restaurants will also offer special deals throughout the course of the evening. [gallery type="rectangular" ids="6512,6510"] Krumpe's donut drop will begin at 5 p.m. with kids’ activities in the Kid’s Zone, which will include crafts, balloons, coloring, and games. At 5:30 p.m., seven-piece Hagerstown band Staff Infection will take the stage, playing favorites from the 1950s through today. Family festivities (fun demos, games, and contests by area businesses, and more!) will begin at 6 p.m. The first 5,000 people in attendance at 6 p.m. will be given free hot chocolate, coffee, popcorn, soup, and donuts, so be sure to arrive early!
The Krumpe's official Donut Drop portion of the evening will begin at 6:59 with the drop of a giant donut, celebrating the arrival of the new year. The live music will continue, and fireworks will follow! The Middletown Valley Bank Krumpe's Donut Drop will be held in Hagerstown’s public square from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., just in time for partygoers to head to another event or back home to watch the ball drop on T.V. and put the little ones to bed.
