Maybe the Rockies should fuel up on Starbucks before every game. After sending rookie Noel Cuevas to get Starbucks drinks, the team demolished the Chicago Cubs, 11–2, on Wednesday, May 2.

Maybe it was part of his initiation, but Colorado Rockies outfielder Noel Cuevas certainly took one for the team on Wednesday, May 2, when his teammates made him go get them all Starbucks drinks -- with a rolling cart -- in full uniform -- in Chicago. There is actually a Starbucks on the Wrigley Field property, though from the pictures (and a quick Google Earth search), it appears that they made him cross the street and use the N. Sheffield Ave. location. The Colorado Rockies tweeted out pictures and commentary as it happened ... https://twitter.com/Rockies/status/991731992256446464
We're counting at least 25 drinks in that order! How annoying! And the order amounted to $111.55. Shortstop Daniel Castro and pitcher Harrison Musgrave were allowed to help Cuevas on the coffee run, though they did not have to wear their uniforms in hostile enemy territory like Cuevas did. https://twitter.com/Rockies/status/991724687372800001 He made a successful delivery and -- best of all -- he did it all with a smile! And I'm thinking, since the Rockies soundly beat the Cubs (11–2) on their opponent's home turf later that day, maybe there's something to this Starbucks thing! Maybe they need to do a Starbucks run before every game. What do you think? Is caffeine the answer? I know it is for me! Weigh in below! And go Rockies!

Introducing himself to John Elway at Shanahan's may have been what got this kid a shot as a rookie with the Broncos! Read all about it here!
