Rutgers football on Saturday bolstered its offensive line depth.

The Scarlet Knights announced the addition of Illinois transfer lineman Zach Aamland, a South Brunswick native who played at the Hun School.

Aamland, who will be in the mix at tackle, has three years of eligibility remaining.

The 6-foot-6, 305-pound Aamland signed with the Illini as part of the 2023 recruiting class, though Rutgers did recruit him so there's a familiarity there.

The Scarlet Knights also last week added LIU offensive line transfer Moshood Giwa.
