You may even choose to have shifts if needed, where family members can take turns enjoying their downtime.

Whether you have a loud campsite or you are staying up chatting once the kids have gone to bed, a sound machine can be beneficial for providing a calming environment that allows for better sleep. If your kids are older and have cell phones or other mobile devices, there are also plenty of great apps they can download with soothing noises, such as the Calm app.

The great outdoors is your family's playground during RV travels! Sometimes, however, weather or other factors make staying inside more appealing. In this case, you'll want to be prepared with options for indoor entertainment. Books, games, and puzzles are great for keeping everyone's brains stimulated and engaged. Movies and TV can come in handy here as well. Just make sure you aren't staring at screens too much!
